Frequently asked questions

Thank you for choosing Rogue Star Beauty for your beauty and skincare purchase! We are a small business that specializes in small batch, handcrafted products to ensure quality and freshness.  Our goal is to make simple yet effective body care formulas free from unnecessary and harmful by-products and chemicals.

HOW LONG DO YOUR PRODUCTS LAST?

Products are formulated to have a shelf life of 9-12 months after opening. With the exception of the Ozone Gold Oxygen Serum, which is best used within 6 months. All of our products shelf life can be extended by storing in a refrigerator. 

The shelf life for natural products depends on a lot of different variables: humidity, exposure to water, bacteria from hands, etc. The best thing you can do is to keep water out of your products as we don’t use any chemical preservatives. Even a small amount of water can introduce a breeding ground for mold, yeast and bacteria.  We suggest keeping your product in a cool, dark, dry place. Also, make sure that the lid is always screwed on nice and tight to prevent humidity from creeping in.

HOW DO I CLEAN MY EMPTY CONTAINERS?

ARE YOUR PRODUCTS VEGAN?

All products are vegan except for Velvet Balm, Blushing Balms and Botanical Highligters which contain beeswax from local beekeepers in Northern California. 

ARE YOUR PRODUCTS ORGANIC? 

Our products are made from the  highest quality ingredients we can find. We use organic ingredients whenever they are available. If ingredients are not organic, they are wildcrafted or come from the earth, such as french green clay, and cannot be categorized as "organic". 

ARE YOUR PRODUCTS CRUELTY FREE? 

Absolutely.

CANCELATION 

Cancelations will only be accepted within 24 hours after placing an order.  You will receive a notice once your order has been shipped and is in transit. Once your order is packed for shipment, you cannot cancel your order. For approved cancelations, refunds will be issued minus shipping costs. Shipping is non-refundable.

REFUNDS/REPLACEMENTS

We accept returns and exchanges of unopened or unused products. Please contact us within 7 days of delivery. Items you wish to return or exchange must be shipped back within 14 days of delivery. 

Conditions of return:

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs. 

Did something arrive broken or damaged? Please email us immediately at orders@roguestarbeauty.com so we can assist you. Please send us a photo of the shipping box and broken or damaged item when you email us.
